PEOPLink guarantees that the producers are legitimately fair trade by one of the following criteria: Members of the World Fair Trade Organization (www.WFTO.com), one of its regional chapters, or the Fair Trade Federation Producers that PEOPlink certifys are already regular suppliers to the fair trade market through WFTO and FTF members Worker owned, democratically organized organizations that can't afford the WFTO dues
3. PEOPLink also follows up with the supplying organizations to ensure that the producers receive at least double their normal income through these channels. It could be through direct payment for goods produced or else additional services such as health.
