Izara Arts buys batik made by kids from BaanSaanRak (House of Love) orphanage during leisure activities to create these blank greeting cards. This is a non-religious, non-governmental home in Northern Thailand where the children receive food and board, education, medical care, clothing and loads of love. They are from extremely poor or broken families whose parents are dead, in jail or sex workers. The kids now lead happy lives learning life skills and good values. The sale of batik is used to support the costs of food and educational equipment. Patterns and colours left to the kids' imaginations, 5 to a pack, envelopes included.
